The above quote was our motto when Convergent Mining started out in 2017 as an exploration company focused on the Walker Lane. The brain child of Dan, an exploration geologist, and Ralston Pedersen, a mining engineer, Convergent went on to make several organic discoveries. This combination of engineer and geologist proved excellent in locating deposits and determining project feasibility.

While exploration is still a part of our business, we find it just as exciting to help others on their projects. With a deep and practical understanding of mining and exploration, who better to assist others in the Western US, to develop, permit and expand projects, than those who have done it successfully before? This is where Convergent Mining’s consulting, engineering and exploration services stem from.

    With six years of in-depth industry experience in consulting for many of the largest mining operations in the Western United States on complex and critical issues, Ralston Pedersen defines intrepid and determined. A licensed professional mining engineer, his success on these projects has garnered strong industry connections and a reputation for outstanding and functional designs.

    Ralston is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno.

  • Principal Geologist

    With 45 years of industry experience in exploration and geology, Dan Pedersen has an institutional understanding of ore-deposits, structural geology and exploration principles across the globe. Dan, an exploration geologist, has worked in Liberia, Alaska, and much of the Western US, bringing invaluable insight to development and exploration stage projects.

    Dan is a graduate of Purdue Univeristy.
